are the answers to some of teh questions you might have.
What
is Gardayou.com ?
Gardayou.com
is not a travel agency, it provides Internet users the possibility to book
accommodations directly online. The user can see the properties' pages,
check prices and send availability or reservation requests to the
accommodation owner.
How
does exactly the Gardayou.com online reservation system work ?
Once you have made a reservation request, it arrives directly to Gardayou.com who then contacts the property and than responds to the reservation request via e-mail. The service provides an effective, secure and simple channel of communication between hotel properties and users. Unlike a travel agency you can search, choose and book
accommodation yourself with the property of your choice.
How much does it cost to make an online reservation with
Gardayou.com?
The Gardayou.com reservation service is completely free for our users. There is no charge for
searching for accomodations, for making or cancelling bookings.
When I make a reservation request, how it is
processed?
The reservation request is sent directly to the property selected. It then processes the request via the Gardayou.com system and sends its response back to you. Your reservation is confirmed when the property sends you its confirmation message.
How long will it take for my reservation request to be answered
to?
The maximum response time is 48 hours. Please be informed that two categories of reservation requests are possible:
Availability requests and Reservation requests. (See the next answer)
What's
the difference between: Availability request and Reservation request and how
do they work ?
The
Availability Request allows you to ask for the availability for an
accommodation of your choice within a specified time period. You may also
ask for any additional information you might need to know. You will then
receive an answer with:

confirmation or denial of the availability (In case of confirmation, you'll
have all the detail for the proposal, such as summary of check-in, check-out
date, number of persons, price, details of the accommodation requested). In
case of negative availability you might receive alternatives accommodation
solution proposals.
After
receiving that, you'll be able to turn the Availability request into a full
reservation by replying to that e-mail and providing your payment
information.
The
Reservation Request works exactly as the Availabiloty Request, except that
it is turned into a reservation immediatley, provided that you gave your
payment information when filling in the form.
NOTE
THAT: In order to receive confirmation via e-mail make sure that the address you enter when sending your booking request is correct. If you enter an incorrect e-mail address you will not be able to receive a reply from the hotel and this could lead to communication problems and misunderstandings. Therefore, it is crucial that you make sure all data is correct.
How do I cancel a booking?
By sending an e-mail to book@gardayou.com with the number of your reservation specifing that you want to
cancel the reservation.
Be aware that in most of case the cancellation includes a penalty varying from the time of your cancellation e.a. if you
cancel your booking one week or three days before you will have to pay a penalty.
How do I modify a
booking?
By sending an e-mail to book@gardayou.com with the number of your reservation request specifyng the change you want.
How
about my credit card?
The credit card you provide to confirm a reservation is not used, and is not
billed for any amount. It is only used for securing the reservation. The
only case in which the hotel owner might use it is when you do not show up
and you did not cancelled the reservation (within the time contraints
for penalties). In that case, the credit card will be debited with the
no-show penalty.
You
will pay at the hotel, when you'll arrive or when you'll leave!
How
about down payments?
Some properties, mostly residences, requires a small amount of the
reservation cost to be deposited to secure the reservation. This practice
can be implemented by:

international bank transfer

online credit card payment (you are not giving your credit card, you are
just paying the down payment to the hotel owner)
Is it possible to send the cc number by fax?
Yes it is possible, specifing it on your e-mail of confirmation. In this case, you will receive the fax number of the property. The reservation will be confirmed only when the property will receive your fax.
Which credit card do you support ?
Credit card supported vary from property to property, check in the
"Bookings" page for each property's policy.
Does a double room have one double-size bed or two separate beds?
Unfortunately, this varies from property to property. To avoid confusion we suggest that you request in the notes either for a double-size bed or two single separate
beds.
